Banners, Visual Communicator
Banners communicate messages in a highly visible way. Vinyl banners are a tool to go BIG with any message you would like to get out in the public view. There is numerous way to utilize banners, including temporary direction, announcements, recognitions, trade shows, school direction and welcoming new students. Fun events like company picnics, sports events, concerts, craft shows, weddings, baby showers, graduations, reopening of stores, sales can benefit from banner signage, and so much more. Banners should be wherever people are.
Promotional and Advertising
For promotional and advertising purposes, banners are printed wordings or designs. If you are looking for an inexpensive option to get something said and garner attention, banners are the way to go. The most popular banner designs are usually one-side printed on a sturdy 13oz vinyl weather-resistant material. The hem can be stitched or glued and includes grommets for easy installation.
Businesses, regardless of size, need to advertise to help them grow and stand out from competitors. Let’s face it; competition is ferocious and stiff out there. Any option to ring your brand and message loud and clear gives you that extra edge over others. Whether you are an established small business or just starting one, displaying a banner with your contact information is essential so potential customers can find you. A company that sponsors events, helps charities, attends trade shows, or needs to promote your products and services, a cost-effective choice is a well-designed banner.
Inexpensive & Impactful
These days we are constantly bombarded by media advertising while internet surfing, in our social media feed, streaming services, and on tv. To such a point that we find ourselves annoyed and finding ways to avoid them altogether. For this reason, many businesses may find themselves disappointed in the diminishing returns of thousands of dollars spent on digital advertisements. Sometimes traditional print mediums such as a simple banner are efficient and inexpensive to reach thousands of people. They do it every minute of every day by simply hanging out.
Banners blend well with the environment. Unlike the same media annoyances people tend to tune out over time, banners help sell a message, inform and influence people non-intrusively. They are easily installed on buildings, fencing, strung between trees, hung on the sides of trailers or trucks. This type of signage is lightweight yet sturdy and weather-resistant, can be moved, used repeatedly, and conveniently stored. Unlike permanent signage that can be costly to change out, banners are a versatile temporary option to get your message out that you are open and ready for business or a sale or promotion. Either way, banners provide visibility and traffic straight to your business.
In today’s busy world of non-stop thinking, too much traffic, and too many things juggled, banners can be an impactful, in-your-face kind of reminder. Banners will not disappoint; a well-designed, eye-catching one with your contact and branding is a hanging business card directing customers to you. You have a better chance of competing when your message is where people pass it every day, and banners are a tried-and-true form of inexpensive and effective advertising.
Vinyl Banners
Vinyl banners are created with high-resolution inkjet printers that print a full-color outdoor billboard on a single piece of material. They can last from 2 to 10 years if taken care of properly, and if you need to change the message, it won’t break the bank. PVC Vinyl, Tyvek Material, Mesh Vinyl, and Adhesive Vinyl are various types of banners. The standard and most popular vinyl banner sizes are 3×6 and 4×8. Banners can be printed horizontally or vertically, depending on what you are advertising.
Vertical Banners
A&I highlights several different uses of banners by our many clients. Such as printing a sizeable vertical banner with a picture of a person our client WLC Architects wanted to honor for doing an exceptional job. This banner was finished with a top hem so a wire hanger could suspend the lobby’s signage. Such a fantastic way for a company to recognize exceptional employees. These are gaining popularity as companies and healthcare facilities use them to increase morale and unify their employees by spotlighting one of their own each month. You may have also seen vertical banners used in memory of veterans and their accomplishments or acknowledging graduates in your community.
Tyvek Banners
San Ysidro School District needed Covid-19 signage and a welcome back banner for the students returning to in-person learning this month. A&I recommended the use of printed Tyvek material for its many protective qualities. It is a strong yet lightweight, tear, water, and scratch-resistant material. Tyvek resists mold, mildew, bacterial penetration and can be washed frequently, sanitized, and is 100% recyclable. An excellent material choice for businesses that are health consciences such as schools, hospitals, clinics, daycare, and retirement homes. Tyvek can resemble the feel of sturdy paper. However, it is 100% synthetic made from high-density spun-bound polyethylene fibers. Truly one of the most tear-resistant materials on the market today. In our current situation where touching could potentially cause illness, Tyvek is a product that offers many protective qualities.
Mesh Banners (Wind-Resistant)
The Mesh Banner, known by other names like fence screens or wind screens, are banners used to promote sporting events or advertise on construction site fencing. Mesh banners are printed on material with smalls holes that allow air to pass through. Wind can be a destructive force at times, and this assures that your banner advertisement will adhere to the fence for the duration needed without buckling or being ripped.
A&I did one heavy-duty mesh banner for a Hodgdon Management and Construction site. Our client was exceptionally pleased with the final product. The banner was printed with their logo and company name, and it left nobody questioning who was on that site working or who they would need to contact for that business.
Adhesive Vinyl Banners
Adhesive Vinyl Banners are a durable sign solution because of their strong adhesion to almost any indoor or outdoor surface. The material has a strong adhesive backing and is water-resistant and UV-protected. This type of banner sign needs no grommets, wire, or rope to hang. It simply adheres on walls, trailers, trucks, or any flat surface where a temporary sign could be useful. Often, construction sites will use this type of banner on the outside wall of the construction trailer and then order the mesh banner for the fencing.
