At A&I, we believe inspiration comes from many sources. Linfield Christian School, an independent college preparatory school in Temecula, California, understands this well and strives to inspire their students every day. Situated on a 100-acre campus, the school proudly displays its colors—navy blue, light blue, gray, and white—with the Lion as its mascot. In a recent project, A&I provided school signage solutions that brought inspiration and school spirit to life on campus.

Tackling Challenges with Better Solutions

Linfield Christian School aimed to save costs by purchasing adhesive vinyl for their graphics. Their crew applied these over old posters, but the results were less than perfect. Over time, the base material warped, and the vinyl developed bubbles and creases. They needed a better solution that stayed within their budget. That’s where A&I came in.

Introducing Ultra Smooth Coroplast for Superior Signage

A&I recommended Ultra Smooth Coroplast, a smooth, corrugated material that is both cost-effective and high in print quality. Ultra Smooth Coroplast, or corrugated plastic, is made from polypropylene and features a fluted layer between two smooth plastic sheets. It combines strength and lightness, making it ideal for various applications, including real estate and directional signs. Its vibrant, weatherproof nature ensures durability and a great return on investment.

We produced 37 Ultra Smooth Coroplast posters for Linfield, ranging in size from 48″ x 48″ to 48″ x 96″, with most being full-bleed 48″ x 96″. These posters were perfect for both interior and exterior use.

Celebrating Students with Custom Pole Flags

Linfield wanted to display student pictures on pole flags to celebrate student achievements. A&I created two sizes of double-sided, high-resolution flags: 22 each 18″ x 36″ and 71 each 30″ x 60″. These flags, made from 10oz block-out vinyl banner material, are waterproof and UV-safe. We added brass grommets at each corner, reinforcing the pole pockets with double stitching. Now, smiling students with school spirit can be seen high up on the poles. These were installed on light poles throughout the campus in high-traffic areas for maximum visibility.

Enhancing School Navigation with Bold Interior Wayfinding Solutions

To create an accessible, highly visible, and impactful wayfinding system for each school department, A&I employed large-scale vinyl cut lettering. We spelled out each department’s name in bold, eye-catching letters. The letters used at the department entry doors are all 13 inches tall, and the overall size of the graphics ranges from 46 to 84 inches, depending on the length of the department name. The text color is gray, following the school’s branding guide. These graphics were strategically installed around the dedicated doorways of the department heads’ offices, ensuring clear and immediate identification.

The large vinyl letters enhance the visual appeal of the school’s interior and significantly improve navigation, making it simpler for students, staff, and visitors to find their way around. This thoughtful design promotes a more organized and efficient school environment, reflecting Linfield Christian School’s commitment to excellence and accessibility.

Enhancing School Spirit with a Dedication Wall

School spirit is a powerful force that unites everyone in pride and enthusiasm. To honor its athletic department’s achievements, Linfield Christian School wanted a special dedication wall. A&I brought this vision to life by printing cut vinyl lettering in the school’s signature dark blue. We spelled out their motto, “Champion of Life, Champion for Christ,” with letters ranging from 9 to 14 inches high, and included the “LC” logo at a height of 20 inches. These elements, combined with framed team pictures from the athletic program, completed the dedication wall. This Vinyl and Picture Dedication Wall proudly showcases Lion Pride, reflecting the true heart and soul of school spirit.

Versatile Vinyl Lettering for Every Surface

Our custom-cut vinyl lettering is made from durable 2mm adhesive vinyl, available in over 30 colors. These letters stick to almost any flat, nonporous surface, including glass, Plexi, walls, storefronts, and vehicles. We can scale the vinyl lettering to fit any project, offering a perfect solution for wall words, door decals, and inspirational sayings.

Vinyl decals are more durable than wall stickers and can last years if properly applied. Stickers are made of thinner, more flexible vinyl that may not hold up well over time, depending on the surface.

We were excited to provide school signage solutions for Linfield Christian School, meeting their needs and budget. They were delighted with the superior color quality and appreciated A&I’s ability to eliminate the labor cost of their staff removing old substrates. Our new installations replaced the old ones, creating spectacular photo displays that will inspire everyone who attends and visits the school campus.
